Last year i did ask a guy who had a small CNC router if he could sign a crown for me and he said yes no problem but.............he dident have the time or the enthusiasm to do it plus he said i wouldent pay him enough to do it  :'(
I have been in Deepshit many times; the older I get, the easier it is  to get there. I actually kind of enjoy it there :)

I'll bet this metal stamping press would do the trick. Crown in, no problem.

Looking at the circular machining mark on this SBBN015 crown, I believe SEIKO used CNC. Is this what you tried to achieve, John?

Yes i know a guy who runs a one man company and this is just down his street with the CNC tooling he has but he dident want to play :(

This was done in my engraving machine using a single letter from my "EastTech" master plate...

thats exactly what I am trying to achieve! the E above is excellent, so I guess crown out is the only way to go.
