Is there any going back after having an ana-digi?

I saw two of this Casio when watch hunting last month. One wasn't working but great looking minus the second hand and one was working but the lume pip was filled with gold which made me pass on it :)

Here's my only ana-digi, the Citizen Promaster SST.  I don't wear it often because it's huge (I have 8+ inch wrists but am not really into the oversized watch trend and this thing dwarfs my SBBN007 Tuna) and the dial is kind of busy.  I like the less cluttered look of your Sportura much more.  That said, this thread inspired me to wear it this evening.   ;D

It has a pretty nice looking backlight, but it can only be used when the digital part is set to either world time or date mode.

No.  I have three ani-dig watches and still prefer my mechanicals (like the others too, though).

a lot of these watches, while technically being ana-digi, like the Arnie and some of the Casios, aren't 'real' ana-digis in the sense that the digital displays are very small.
When it comes to true full featured ana-digis, I agree they are great, but only with backlight.

I have really been eyeing the Citizen SST for the last week. The one with the slide rule bezel. I think the 3 upper subdials look kinda nice, but I'd almost prefer to do away with them to make the overall watch a bit smaller. Nonetheless, it seems to have everything I'm looking for in one gargantuan package.
