Fleabay bidding to up pricing?????? Opinions.....
« on: January 21, 2012, 11:37:43 AM »
I have been watching fleabay all week as im off work and bored stiff........ anyways, any Bellmatics i see from the far east seem to have something strange going on. A certain bidder l***l (1915) seems to bump up the prices but never seems to win. Is this common   on that site?????? ??? ???

I have noticed it too.
I am doing more and more research as to why bellmatics have began skyrocketing on the bay since about 2 months ago.

Yeah, over the week that and other bidders up the ante as soon as you bid up to a certain point say £60 and then leave you at it.

There are lots of others who have gotten stung by non genuine models and try to make a buck without knowing they are fakes.

Pity to see it but i suppose its a free market. Just watch that particular bidder, he never seems to have any luck!!!!! ;)

Its not too hard to figure out that the guy is shill bidding for someone else. If you look at the two-way traffic, the guy whose watch(s) he was bidding on probably returns the favor and bids his stuff up too.

Shill bidding has gone on since auctions began.  It has been said (by whom we'll never know!) that auctioneers have been known to take "mystery" bids to take the item up to reserve so that they don't miss the commission!  ;)
