6306-7000 service work

THis came in for relume work and full movement service . Orings are to be replaced this week and perform pressure tests :)










titanium white base coat was applied after old tritium was removed. Then 3 coats of lume was applied  :)

Looks Good  :great:  Would you be so kind as to tell how you cleaned the dial, Prepped it for relumeing, How you applied the lume etc... Thanks for your consideration  :)

Was that the amplitude before or after the service? Was it wound fully?

Yeah.....i was about to ask that too !!
It seems amplitute indicate a service and beat error is high for accuracy.

the readings on my timegraph machine were BEFORE service . The movement is still being serviced :)
regarding the dead old lume , it took me close to an hour to remove it. Lucky me , old dead tritium comes off easy. Titanium dioxide white base coat was used on each marker , then 3 coats of lume over a period of 24 hours .

I have been using oilers and fine needles for reluming dials
