Seiko SNX425K review
« on: July 21, 2011, 02:07:34 AM »

Watch is S/Steel (with a DIY gold plate). Fairly Bog Standard Seiko automatic of ~35mm case size. Has a not a very accurate 7S26A 21 jewel movement, so I had it regulated to an acceptable (just about) accuracy. I liked the easy-to-read dial etc. The luminous hands etc. are very useful, too. Crystal is flat hardlex. The crown is small, and at 4 o'clock and non-hacking, with no manual wind. The bracelet is lightweight and well finished (some budget Seikos have very cheap-looking bracelets).

Has the see-thru back which is lettered as follows:

7S26 00D0 and 'G' in a box
570720 (Serial No. manuf. July 2005)
Water Resistant KY

Dial bottom reads: JAPAN 5H - 228AOL

A very nice, lightweight everyday watch which is currently sporting a black leather strap, which looks better with the 'gold' case.
