4006-6011 Info please
« on: June 29, 2011, 06:12:28 PM »
I have had my bellmatic for some time now and have often wondered if it would have originally been on a bracelet or leather strap. Numbers are 4006-6011 and case no is 282064.  Any other info also appreciated. :c017:

I believe the general consensus is that Bell-matics came on bracelets when new.  Yours could have come on:

 :iagree:

That is a nice watch you have got there!
As far as I can tell, the 601x Bell-Matic series came on two different bracelets. One is depicted in John's photo above,
the other one is shown fitted onto the blue and silver SGP 601xs in the ad attached (picture taken from John's former bellmatics.com page).
This (Stelux) wide-link bracelet is IMO of particularily high quality and is most probably the sturdiest of all Bell-Matic bracelets...

Best,
Hermann

This type of bracelet is a nice quality one for the 6010s.

I have been in Deepshit many times; the older I get, the easier it is  to get there. I actually kind of enjoy it there :)

John,

this is exactly the bracelet I aimed to refer to ;-)
Does yours also have the Stelux stamp in the clasp?
