Gotta get a Bell
« on: June 26, 2011, 01:29:18 PM »
Hello everyone new here been lurking for awhile just a rant I was bidding on a watch from the "other" site and got snipped at the very last second, Im pretty pissed about it after all these weeks but I just cant let it go so to the last minute loser if your on here and are reading this please have some self respect and dont reply.
Anyway for those who are curious it was a Business-Bell (7digit) needed alot of work but in my eyes was perfect. I work for Bell Canada as a technician and the second I saw this watch I knew I just had to have one so to anyone out there with a Business-Bell (preferably 7 digit) looking to sell send me a PM

Can't go wrong with a BB :)

I have been in Deepshit many times; the older I get, the easier it is  to get there. I actually kind of enjoy it there :)

Wow, very nice. I don't own a Bell yet, but when I do I hope it's as nice as that one.

Oh, I am perfectly sure the seller knew what he had since he is from that very forum  :)

Btw.: if you are a Bell-Technician, why not get another Bell-Matic model?
The Business Bell is nothing else than a 701x model with a different dial... rare and beautiful, of course, but certainly not the only desireable Bell-Matic  ;)

Best,
Hermann

I currently own a 27J black dial (7-digit) Bell-Matic much like the one in your avatar as well as a Lord-Matic, Business-A, King Seiko Chronometer Hi-Beat and a Seikomatic Diashock but the Business-Bell has been the hardest by far to obtain.

TigerUK - is that BB pictured for sale?

Sounds like a selection of very fine timepieces  :)

Would you care to introduce us to them in the main forum?

Btw.: the Bell-Matic in my Avatar is a 4006-6089 model, which was only available with 17 jewels. I reckon yours is either a 701x or a 702x model?

Best,
Hermann
