any tips on this Bellmatic?

I might buy this one. It's not perfect so the price might be right. I think the rest checks out OK.

If you are into gold plated watches, then I think this watch could suit you right!
It looks as if it was worn regularily and carefully. There are some concerns, however:

- dial is from an SS -7000 model (check chrome plating on logo/markers)
- Watch appears to be relumed (check the colour of the alarm marker, which should be lumed, too, in comparision), if so, it appears to have been done carefully
- Crown could be a replacement, but not sure
- Make sure you receive a movement shot, check for pitting in the caseback thread/gasket area and whether the casing spring is there

I did not notice chrome plating on the logo.
That has put me off the watch. I'm glad I found out before buying it!
