Dial:

This particular King Seiko has a Silver Dial with applied silver-colored non-luminous markers.  The wording "Seiko" and "KS" are also raised.  The date window is surrounded by a silver box.  The word "Hi-Beat" appears under the KS logo ...  an indication of a bph (beats per hour) of 28800 and higher.  This model has a bph of 36000.

Hands:

The hands are also non-luminous, pointer shaped, and have a black stripe down the center of them.  The second hand reaches the indices and is silver in color.  It has a very smooth sweep, because of the high bph.

Case:

The case is stainless steel and polished.  It has sharp edges as shown in the photos, giving the case its unique look.

Crystal:

The crystal is made of scratch resistant "Hardlex."  It is slightly raised above the bezel of the case.  It is not domed.

Crown:

The crown is signed "KS" and is slightly larger in size, with nice grooves, making it easy to grip for winding.

Case Back:

The case back screws in, and shows the serial #, the model number, stainless steel, and  water resistant.  It has a unique gold medallion that reads Seiko KS.

Movement:

The movement is a caliber 4502A, 25J, 36000 bph, handwinding & hacking.  It has a very rapid date change.

Size comparison:  The Breitling SuperOcean has a case diameter of 41.5mm, the King Seiko, 36mm

What do you like about it?  How does it wind? How is it different from the run of the mill seiko's that most of us own?
