1: Comparison of regular (left) and solid (right) endlinks casefit.

2: Regular endlink fit.

3. Solid endlink fit

4. Regular endlink

5. Solid endlink

Overall impressions
The solid endlinks fit well against the case (although the right shoulder of each link sits slightly proud of the case; fig 3) - , and their solidity and stress distribution suggest that bent springbars (Seikos fat springbars don’t fit the SuperOyster and the thinner springbars are not always up to the task of bearing the heavy 6309 head) are a thing of the past for me.

The solid links are nicely made, and I have a childlike/WISlike pleasure knowing I have something exclusive fitted to my 6309! There is a difference in the way the strap joins to the respective endlinks, clear when one looks at the pictures side-by-side, but once the solid endlinks are fitted and the watch is on the arm, they look absolutely great.

you might want to also consider Swedefreak's heavy gauge steel open endlinks.  IMHO they are the best of the three choices.
