Hi,
How accurately can Man measure time? The most accurate atomic clocks nowadays are Caesium fountain atomic clocks (e.g.
NIST-F1
and
NIST-F2
), but a new generation of clocks promise even better accuracy. Here are two links to articles about recent research conducted by NIST scientists that give us a hint of where atomic clocks are going:
