GS SpringDrive Diver 200 tested by The Watch Observer
« on: October 19, 2010, 08:47:44 AM »
    Hi,

By kind permission of Sir Les, I invite you to  read the Grand Seiko SprinDrive Diver 200 Test published by The Watch Observer.

In order to avoid any misanderstanding, let me  please introduce in a few words what we do.

- The aim of The Watch Observer is not to test on  a scientific basis watches – actually, it was my intention at the very  beginning of the website project but the brands did not allow me to undertake  depth tests, shock tests… on the watches they lend us.
The tests made by our "testers/editors"  are pragmatic: each journalist puts himself in the potential buyer’s shoes  (this is why we call them « tests ») who enters a dealer in order to try the  watch he has been spotted for a few days.
And then he tests the watch for  several days and in real conditions of a daily life.
We intend to give internet users a general and  pragmatic overview of the watches we talk about.
With the Pros and Cons.
And without passion like when the owner of a  watch talks about his brand new watch – if you know what I mean ;)

- Please do not compare our evaluation grid and  our « Editor’s opinion » to your academic grading system.
Just compare watches between them.

For those who might be interested, here are the Seiko Tests already published:
Hope you will enjoy reading them - even if you will not always agree with the reviewer :o
Some other Seiko Tests wil be published in the  forthcoming months.

Regards,
Pierre Gisclard
