I keep seeing these pop up on the forums at sub-$200 prices and wonder if it's worth a shot to pick one up? I've long lamented that Seiko no-longer makes a decent straight-forward quartz diver - and these look like they might fit the bill. So, what do you say, any experiences with Scurfa out there?
Yes it's worth the price. I've had the D1 Silicon for a year now. Considering the story behind his watches, and the fact he is real saturation diver himself, they are a great quartz diver.
I have the first iteration of the Diver One. Very good watch for the money. I've had it for 2 years and it is keeping good time, been in the ocean, and no problems. Original battery is still in as well.
I also have the first stainless steel as above, but i got it with the nato strap. The strap sucks, but the watch is quite nice. I've used it swimming and it was fantastic.
I have a Scurfa Diver One SS 2nd Gen and it worth the price of admission. Everything rocks about it and it is even better on a nato strap. I have to say it is one of the best buys for the price.
