Seiko Bell Matic 4006 7002 bezel question

Hello guys. I've never owned a Bell Matic so far but I did have a few good occasions and I always passed on sadly.

I now have the chance to acquire a somewhat beat up Seiko Bell Matic 4006-7002 which requires a service but it also seems to have a missing component, from the picture. The bezel.

I have included a photo so that someone tell me if I'm correct and also I'd like some more info on this.

Is it true that it's connected to the alarm function of the watch ? Are these expensive/hard to source ?

Also what about this type of Bell-Matic ? Is it in any way interesting in comparison to others ?

Yes it seems to miss the outside bezel.
No im sure it has no function.
The alarm function works with the inside alarm ring. You can move it if you pull the crown one klick en turn the crown. For example set the red triangle dot on 12.
Then push tge crown back in place and wind the crown clockwise to wind the alarm spring.
Then pull the alarm push button out one click to set the alarm. Then when the hour passes 12 it must ring. Or you manually pull the crown two clicks and move the hour to 12.

Bezels are normally friction fit, I stand to be corrected as I've yet to start pulling apart any BM's (although I have a couple that are waiting for me to start). As for finding them, I'd put a WTB on here as I know some folks have a bit of stock and maybe one of them can spare a bezel?
