had this tudor with an uncommon dial - blue and arabic numbers at 2-4-8-10 instead of the Explorer-style 12-6-9

Got a SD4K, love this thing!

Excuse that light on the hour hand, it's the laser from my phones auto-focus sensor.

Very nice, I like this case so much better than that of the current one with square-ish lugs and crown guards.

Congratulations!
The glide lock clasp is a joy to operate, allows easy adjustments on the go as wrist swells or shrinks, it's very convenient for me as I like to wear my watches snuggly.

thanks, Reynaldo. my favorite feature is the lug holes, as they make strap change easier. later models discontinued the lug holes

On a 20mm Eulit palma perlon with OEM tudor buckle and trying out newly arrived SEIKO bezel protectors (yes it may be butt-ugly and sinful for some but it fulfils a purpose to protect my diver from rough play during my holidays which start today )

How'd you do that? Preserve it in a temperature and humidity-controlled vault with ultraviolet light to discourage the growth of mold?

This was something of a wreck when received. But with TLC and some diligent watchmaking it turned out very nice. All original excepting the crystal and crown. This watch was given to a Vietnam era Navy Seal by his men...who purloined the very worn watch...and after restoration re-presented it to a man who obviously knows how to lead
