Default Technical Guides for modern calibers

I have found some great resources for older calibers, a list on WUS, a list on here, a PDF database on the Cousins UK website.....

But I am not having much luck finding technical guides / repair manuals for modern calibers. All I seem to dig up is user manuals and very light reading.

Does anyone have any good sources tucked away in their bookmarks? For things like the 7C46 or 8L35, but also the ones probably less people care about like the solar seikos in the SNE107 (V158).

The 7C46 manual is in the forum archives, I would think it unlikely you'll easily find an 8L35 tech pdf - since it's one of the hand assembled Morioka movements which would normally go back to Japan for service. As to the solar movements ... they are predominantly based on standard calibres with the addition of the solar section. The V158 looks like it could be 7N42/VX42 based...as some of the part numbers are common to them. Cross referencing of part numbers is often the only clue you'll get on the identity of base calibres.... try Seiko Australia's site for part numbers http://service.seiko.com.au/pls/seik...30::NO:RP,20:: But ultimately sometimes it's down to hours of trawling the 'net for information, happy hunting.
