Default Interesting (?) 6309 on the bay

I am no expert on the 6309, but surely the word "resist" is not in the right place! At nearly $600 Australian I think I'll pass.

Extremely rare 'wonky resist' dial. Known as the 'Wonka' these are hard to find. A batch of them were made in the early 2000s by a drunk, whom soon after lost his job. The dials can reach extremely high prices; sometimes 10, sometimes even 20 pence. If you find one buy it and hide it in a safe for the next generation of human species to uncover.

Just a quick update - The makers of the "shark tuna" ended this auction early as "the item was no longer available".

Why would anyone go to the bother of building up a potentially great 6309 TST and then fit what has to be the worst possible fake 7040 dial?
