Got this from internet. A guy in Hongkong is doing this nice job for $230.
I'm going to have my both Orient on his service. (Yeah i know i may post in wrong place but the photo in this post is a Seiko.)
Kindly let me know your mind if you think it worth.
Regards.

I doubt we are talking Purdey, Boss or best Italian quality.

Not even my B25 B5.3

Thank you gentlement for your comments. There's a lot of work on the engraved watch. With 230$ for an upgrade to your loved watch i believe it's reasonable. I mostly use leather strap for my watch so i decide to engave the watch lonely not the whole bracelet that cost much time so the price should be lower. It's reasonable to me IMHO.
Cheers!

It's not to my personal taste but it's good value at $230, I'd say. If you're planning to keep the watch and just enjoy it then go for it, why not. In terms of resale value, however, you probably wouldn't get your money back as you're suddenly pitching to a very small niche market who might appreciate what you've had done. I also think it would look better on a vintage watch as opposed to a new one.

Good value without a doubt - but tasteless and disgusting without a similar doubt

There are few things more beautiful than a good quality side-by-side. They've fascinated me ever since I was given a single barrel 4/10 for my 13th birthday and a SBS 16 bore for my 16th.

Sorry I am detracting from the topic...my last off post

Last year I scrapped an English 16G W Griffiths off my license to make room for an Italian Benelli Deluxe.

Back to the watch, on the right one that would look stunning.

It's got me thinking now, which one would it work on best

I don't know why but I actually quite like the look of it

I wonder what a stainless Tuna shroud would look like engraved ?

I don't mind it at all, I wouldn't say it totally fits the sports watch though! Could have just done a load of the Seiko tsunami logos all over it haha.

I still say it's a lot of work for $230 though! I'd have expected that to take days?

It seems somewhat at odds with the basic simplicity of the watch.

I kind of like it. Saw a write up of a guy that does Rolex's and I'm sure his price is much higher.
