Default Watch strap ID / Vintage 6159 rubber?

Hi all. Can any of you identify this strap for me please?

The GL831 is on the top to show the difference in length.
I'm wondering if it's an original, very long (to fit over wet suit?) 6159 Tuna strap?

I'm no expert Guy, but awhile back I had a rubber strap that was identified by Mario and Mike Mounce to having been for the 6159 tuna. I can't find the pictures, but did not have the brand and Japan on the outside. It also had longer ends and the curvature marks of shroud that further suggested it must at least have been from a 'tuna'.

Thanks ssseiko. Had a hunch it was. Thing is I've had it for quite a while now and only today did I finally get round to confirming it. I'm guessing quite sought after, comparable to an original waffle? Does it have a product code?

Hmm I see cheers Reynaldo. So would they not have had the stamp? Can't see any other markings.

I think it is! Backwards, in that case, yes that's what the other one looked on inside. Can't really see from the pictures but if the ends are longer than other straps like the GL831 then that's got to be the same strap

Ps: the beveled holes should be to inside of strap.

Ahh right got you. So whoever had it wore it the wrong way! Well I can't blame em, sorta works.

Yeh, had it for a while. That's my lovely couch it's on.
Also that GL831 was a right grubby mess but in the ultrasonic cleaner (risked it) and some hot soapy water it looks excellent.

Very Nice Strap - Very Hard to Find and Looks to be in Great Shape. The early 7549-7010 300m Tunas were also supplied with the same strap. Extra Long with Stainless Steel Buckle.
