Default Just a word of warning !!

I have again been contacted by one of our members who did a WTB on the TF and he has been contacted via email with an offer to sell with the stipulation that payment can only be done by Western Union as the seller does not do paypal.

[color=red]As we all know with Western Union there is no security for the buyer at all !!!!

The poster was contacted by email as i say which he displayed in his WTB post, the mods have on a few occasions now recommended the practice of showing your email is or could be dangerous as it allows anyone to contact you, it is recommended that that you use the forums pm or email facilities and that way only some one who has registered to be a member can contact you and then at least we have a better chance of tracking them.

If the seller is genuine then my apologies for being suspicious but..............

Just as a foot note please remember the trade forum is a FREE platform for us to use but the SCWF or mods or anyone connected with the SCWF can not be responsible for any dealings through the TF that may or have gone bad

Oy! :-[ When will people learn. Please do not post your e-mail addresses on your sales post. If you get taken advantage of because you igonred all the warnings we've posted and chose to post your e-mail address (instead of using the nice secure forum based communication system), then please do not look to the staff to help you resolve transaction disputes when yo are taken advantage of.

Rule number 46.

No watch is so rare that you cannot wait for a honest seller (with a Paypal account) to sell at a decent price.

The buyer can tell the seller that he does not "do" Western Union (so they should both look elsewhere.

And it's a good idea to do the same as on Ebay - check the person's posts and history, they may have 150 posts and be a "senior member" -but that doesn't mean they're kosher.

Default Thank you for the Alert again Staff

We have to remember that we do not know everyone on here and that
we should continue to follow the Regulations and Rules given to us so freely to use. We should continueally go back to check is these are updated or redirected.
By doing his we can avoid having to continually ( be Effected and also give our ....... " Moderators and Staff Big Break " due to our own ignorance to follow all this.)
Its very simple when we joined we were first told to continually read our Rules and Regulations very carefully and that's where we are
....." Lacking to See " , if something has be changed or Modified to use.
Lets all cooperate and give our......" Major Staff " better support and Less
Problems that they have to ........ " Continually be Reminding Us off "
what we were told to do.

It's just my 2 cents.
