1968 seiko. looking for value

i have a 1968 seiko sea lion m88 26 jewels stainless steel 6106-8030 black dial serial number 800029 with a stelux double clasp band and was wondering if anyone knows the value.

Hello, and welcome to the forum on behalf of everyone here.

I think you'd be best off checking eBay for similar watches in the same condition. Check the completed listings by selecting the options by clicking the refine button or the settings on the left.

Maybe check watch recon to see if any have been sold recently or are up for sale now?

These are great watches for the money and are a solid movement. However, I don't think that they are as yet "recognized" outside the tight Seiko community. I wouldn't consider it one of Seiko's "high grade" movements. Without looking, My guess is that you are looking at the $100 range- maybe- depending significantly upon condition/wear and tear, and rarity of the particular case design.
